Care Cards are $25 CommunityAid thrift store vouchers.
They provide flexible, immediate support, giving recipients the dignity to choose their own essentials while helping our partners conserve their own resources. Whether facing poverty, an unexpected clothing crisis, recovering from a house fire or transitioning out of homelessness, these vouchers are pivotal in creating a path toward sustainability and self-sufficiency.
We rely on our local nonprofit partners to ensure these vouchers reach the people who need them most.
Each quarter, the we supply our active partners with a shipment of Care Cards, which have no expiration date, ensuring they are simple and easy to share with clients and guests in need.
Partners distribute these vouchers as they deem most fitting, either directly to individuals receiving support from their outreach, or to stock clothing closets with essentials to support their programming.
Cards are redeemed at the register, no questions asked, allowing shoppers to purchase their items without drawing attention to themselves. This process creates an environment where everyone can shop with dignity and respect.
